Dr. Elias Tam is President of the Singapore section (2016-2017), one of the International Executive Council Members
and the Secretary of Pacific Federation of The International College of Surgeons, a membership committee member of
the Asia Association of Hair Restoration Surgeons and a committee member of the Society of Men’s Health of
Singapore.
Dr. Tam is a speaker on the international circuit of Aesthetic Medicine conferences and seminars. He also started
the Myface Cadaveric Workshop in 2010 to provide advanced hands-on training for doctors, and the Myface Public
Forum to empower the public and help clear up any myths and misinformation about aesthetic
treatments.
With the goal of expanding on the skill-sets of both established medical practitioners and newcomers to the
industry, Dr. Elias Tam has conducted training (and is also a trainer) for various pharmaceutical companies
(including Galderma, Allergan, Merz, Ipsen and A-menarini), as well as for laser applications.
Dr. Tam also heads his own aesthetic clinic, which is conveniently located at Shaw Centre in Orchard.

a private plastic surgeon, specialist in plastic surgery. He is an international speaker at many congresses in
Asia, some of the notable Aesthetic topics are ‘beautiful nose & facial contour’, ‘Facial Clinical Anatomy
related to aesthetic medicine’, ‘pitfalls in aesthetic medicine: complications & risk management’. He have 16
publications in the area of plastic surgery.

He is currently an International Executive Councilor of International College of Surgeons ICS as well as the
Chairman for the Specialty of Cosmetic/Aesthetic surgery ICS. He has
been regularly invited as Chairman for sessions in Aesthetic Cosmetic Surgery in many international meetings
.
His pioneer ship in surgery for 25 years includes:
Advanced Laser Liposuction with a large personal series of cases performed for its efficacy; laser scar surgical
treatment including original innovative clinical application of laser fractionation for severe acne scar; in
Cosmetic Reconstructive Surgery for skin cancer and Aesthetic Facial-plastic Surgery; using cutting edge technology
(Nd:Yag, Carbon Dioxide, Erbium, Plasma Energy, Diode, Q-Switch) to attain the best possible aesthetic results by
using Cutaneous Dermatologic Cosmetic Laser Surgery for synergistic surgical & non-surgical Multi-modal facial

PROFESSOR HYOUNG JIN MOON is the President of the BeUp Aesthetic Surgery Clinic in Seoul, Korea. He is also Vice
President of the Korean Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Prof Moon trained as a facial plastic
surgery fellow at Seoul’s Yonsei University Hospital. Up to today he is still active in education, acting as
clinical professor in facial plastic surgery in Yonsei University, Korea.
He is also on the Korean Board of Otorhinolaryngology, Facial Plastic Surgery and Head & Neck Surgery. He
serves as International and Regional Advisory Trainer for many global dermatology-aesthetic companies including
Galderma, IPSEN, and Menarini.
Prof Moon is a member of various academies and societies, including the Korean Medical Association, Korean Academy
of Otorhinolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery and Korean Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive
Surgery.
He has contributed extensively to the area of facial plastic surgery in terms of scientific research, publishing
textbooks, papers and articles in scientific journals such as The Laryngoscope, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

DR GIOVANNI SALTI is one of the world's leading experts on the use of intradermal fillers and botulinum toxin. He
has been the KOL for the largest companies in the aesthetic industry and he knows the international market. He has
accumulated considerable experience in the treatment of Asian and Middle Eastern patients, as well as Europeans. He
knows very well also threads techniques. Especially in a first phase this versatility is crucial to quickly build a
knowledge base on filler techniques.
He is currently servicing as the consultant and trainer for several companies in the field of plastic surgery and
aesthetic medicine (Galderma, IBSA, Sinclair, Marrllor), he is also Lecturer (Aesthetic Dermatology) University of

DR SOMASUNDARAM SATHAPPAN is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and heads the Soma Plastic Surgery (Clinical
Aesthetics) Clinic in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. Dr. Soma received his medical degree from the University of Malaya in
Kuala Lumpur in 1989 and was posted to Sarawak in Malaysia Borneo for a year and half before returning to Kuala
Lumpur and joining the National University of Malaysia as a trainee lecturer in the Department of Surgery. Dr. Soma
completed his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburg, Scotland in 1994 and returned to the
National University of Malaysia for a Masters Degree in Surgery in 1996, followed by additional plastic surgery
training at the Welsh Centre for Burns and Plastic Surgery in Swansea, Wales completed in 2001.
A special interest in treating burns, scars and keloids led Dr. Soma to help establish the Advanced Burns Centre at
the National University of Malaysia. He is also a member of the Asian Scar Advisory Board, with the aim of
advancing the science of scar and keloid treatment. Drawing earlier experience as a lecturer, Dr. Soma guides third
and final year medical students at the National University of Malaysia and the post-graduates in the Masters in
Surgery program in clinical bedside courses. Dr. Soma also teaches courses for student nurses as the University of
Malaysia's teaching hospital and lends his expertise internationally as a tutor in the Royal College of Surgeons of
Edinburgh's Basic Surgical Skills course. Dr. Soma has lectured at many local and international meetings, specially
on scars and scar treatment and stem cell facial rejuvenation using platelet rich plasma.

CHOO is the past president and founding member of Asia Pacific
Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. He has organized and conducted numerous regional
oculoplastic teaching courses. He has spearheaded the studies on the important microscopic anatomical
features of oriental lower and upper eyelids. Invited by numerous hospitals in the region he has travelled
widely to impart his oculoplastic surgical skills. He is an Editorial Board Member, ORBIT Journal and an
Invited Editorial Board Reviewer of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Journal. In 2008, he
received APAO
Distinguished Service Award for the meritorious services in Ophthalmology in the Asia-Pacific region. He was
also conferred 2017 AAO and 2018 APAO achievement awards. Currently he is the
Senior Consultant of Oculoplastic Surgery, Clinical Director of Aesthetic Service in Singapore National Eye
Centre, President of Singapore Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and International
Member of American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.

DR VICTOR FAN is a medically qualified oral & maxillofacial surgeon who practices the full scope from wisdom
teeth / dental implant surgery to complex oral cancer resection, neck dissections and microvascular reconstruction.
He is now in private practice as a senior consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Head and Neck Surgeon in Gleneagles
Medical Centre. Prior to private practice, he was an assistant professor with the Faculty of Dentistry of National
University of Singapore and senior consultant surgeon at the National University Hospital with a practice in
surgical oncology and microvascular reconstructive surgery. Besides surgical oncology, he has an active interest in
aesthetic facial surgery and he is a member of the European Association of Facial Plastic Surgery. He had lectured
on aesthetic surgery in international and local symposiums and is actively engaged in facial aesthetic surgery in
private practice. He is the course director of the first Singapore MOH approved local faculty course on Facial
Aesthetic and Rejuvenation using Botox which grants certificate of competency to dentists intending to practise
facial rejuvenation procedures.

DR FONG POH HIM graduated in 1976 from the National University of Singapore with M.B.B.S. After his internship, he
underwent basic surgical training and obtained his surgical fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of
Edinburgh, United Kingdom in 1981. He pursued further training in the subspecialty of Plastic and Reconstructive
Surgery and became a fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore in 1984. He was enrolled in the Specialist
Register for Plastic Surgery at the same time. He was in the Department of Plastic Surgery, Singapore General
Hospital. Following years of experience as a consultant plastic surgeon, he ventured into private practice.
Dr Fong is a visiting consultant to the National Skin Centre. He is
also a visiting consultant plastic surgeon to the Department of Surgery, Tan Tock Seng Hospital
. He has been on medical mission trips since the 1980s, mostly in Asia – Myanmar, Cambodia, Philippines, Indonesia,
China and India.
His specialty practice includes cosmetic surgery of the eyelids, nose chin, face and ears. Double eyelids are
created with stitch or laser techniques. Asian noses with low bridge and week chin are augmented with implants.
Bulbous tip is refined and broad alars are reduced. Prominent ears are set back. Aging face with cheek droop and
prominent Nasolabial folds may be lifted with a short indistinct scar. Body contouring with liposuction is commonly
done for the abdomen, thighs, arms, back and chin. Small breasts are augmented with implants and large sagging
breast are reduced and lifted. Long and sagging nipple is reduced and lifted. Cosmetic laser treatment for
pigmentations like sun spots, age spots, moles and skin lesions. Laser resurfacing is done to smoothen acne scars.
Tattoos are removed with minimal scars and unwanted hairs are removed permanently with laser. Botox is used for
treating wrinkles and to contour the face. Collagen fillers are used for augmenting deep lines and contouring.
In reconstructive surgery, he has a special interest in breast reconstruction following mastectomy. Both methods
using implant or own tissue from the abdomen or back can be used. Congenital cleft lip and palates are managed with
a team of surgeons and therapists. Asymmetry of facial expression due to facial palsy can be corrected with muscle
transfer to reanimate the face. Deformities or skin defect after trauma or surgery may be reconstructed with skin
flaps using microsurgical techniques to restore form and function.

graduated from National University of Singapore in 1996 with the Gold Medal in Ophthalmology. She obtained
Fellowship of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Fellowship of Academy of Medicine Singapore in 2004.
After passing the United States Medical Licensing Examinations, she completed 2 intensive clinical
fellowships in the United States (Ann Arbor and Los Angeles). Prior to starting private practice, she was
Head of Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, National Healthcare Group Eye Institute.
Bestowed with
numerous service excellence and research awards, she has published several peer-reviewed articles, and
presented and performed live surgeries at international conferences in Asia-Pacific, Europe and
USA. She is a committee member of the American Academy of
Ophthalmology 2016-2017. She is also a reviewer for many
journals including Survey of Ophthalmology, British Journal of Ophthalmology. She is currently in the
Scientific Bureau of the World Society of Paediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus and is the external
scientific member Centralised Institutional Research Board, Singhealth.
Her areas of
interest include cataract surgery, strabismus surgery (adult and paediatric) and paediatric
ophthalmology.

Jin in Navi Plastic Surgery Clinic in Seoul. She has vast experience with injectables, endonasal rhinoplasty
and blepharoplasty.
